Pace the Pumpkin 5k Run/Walk

Race Information: This is the first annual UVM Running Club Pace the Pumpkin 5k! Do you have what it takes to beat the pumpkin? All racers who finish before the pumpkin will recieve a t-shirt that highlights their accomplishment, and all racers who finish after the pumpkin will receive a t-shirt to motivate them to beat the pumpkin next year! It is HIGHLY recommended to wear a ridiculous costume to the race, and the best three costumes will receive awards! The race start is at 11:00 A.M.
Registration Information: Registration is from 10:00-10:45 A.M., at the back of the University of Vermont Patrick Gym. The race fee is $15. 

Course Description:  The course starts at the back of the University of Vermont Patrick Gym. The majority of the course is on the Burlington bike path, with about half a mile on trails and part of a golf course. The first mile of the course is a gradual downhill, followed by a flat second mile, and then the last mile back up the gradual hill.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher. Awards will also be given to the best three costumes.
